One of the unusual things about Screen Machine is that we don't sell 
food or drink, and we don't have a cafe or bar. Rather, we hope that a 
Screen Machine visit can bring a boost to local businesses - be it for 
snacks and juice, or a meal at a local hotel or restaurant.

Thanks to financial support from Screen Scotland, the Screen Machine 
service is secure* until April 2026. So we have a busy summer ahead in 
applying to large trusts and funds for the significant sum of money - 
£1.7 million - that is required to buy a brand new Screen Machine. In 
making these applications, it will be very beneficial if we can 
demonstrate that we understand the communities we visit, and the impact 
- if any - that Screen Machine has on the local economy.

Please follow the link below to a short survey, which should take only 
four minutes to complete. The survey will ask you about what you spend 
your money on when you attend the Screen Machine. In addition, there are 
a couple of questions about the Screen Machine service in general, and 
the value that you may place on it. So whatever your spend - tickets 
alone or a meal - we'd be very grateful if you could complete the survey 
*as soon as possible.* We'll use the survey results to strengthen 
applications we are working on right now - *so please don't delay.*
