One of the unusual things about
Screen Machine is that we don't
sell food or drink, and we don't
have a cafe or bar. Rather, we
hope that a Screen Machine visit
can bring a boost to local
businesses - be it for snacks
and juice, or a meal at a local
hotel or restaurant.<br>
<br>
Thanks to financial support from
Screen Scotland, the Screen
Machine service is secure* until
April 2026. So we have a busy
summer ahead in applying to
large trusts and funds for the
significant sum of money - £1.7
million - that is required to
buy a brand new Screen Machine.
In making these applications, it
will be very beneficial if we
can demonstrate that we
understand the communities we
visit, and the impact - if any -
that Screen Machine has on the
local economy.<br>
