We've been generating lots of discussion this week on cruise ships and 
one thing that was asked for was better information on the road closures 
that are coming up.
We've got two different thresholds for road closures - one for when 
there are more than 3000 passengers expected in one day, and one when 
there are more than 5000 passengers expected in one day.
When we've got more than 3000 passengers expected we close Bridge Street 
and Albert Street. The days that are coming up are 18 June (this 
Sunday), 21 June (this Wednesday), 28 June and there will be more 
through to 17 October.
When we've got more than 5000 passengers expected, we close Bridge 
Street, Broad Street, Castle Street, Palace Road (Watergate to Broad 
Street), Tankerness Lane and Victoria Street. The next closure like this 
will be on 6 July and there will be five more days like that up to the 
end of August.
You've said that you'll find this information helpful, so we'll add this 
to our cruise updates on a Sunday night - and we'll look at providing 
some additional information on the Council website too.
