[Stronsaylimpet] Memories of Stronsay's North School

I'm aiming to write a bit about Stronsay's North School to go in the 
Limpet and I'm hoping there will be some of you out there who can 
remember going to school there or have memories of the school, the 
pupils or the teachers you would be willing to share. Any snippets of 
information or stories, however small, would be greatly appreciated!
This photo of some of the North School pupils and their teacher was 
taken around 1928 and the names we've got for them are:
Back Row L - R. Frank Jackson, John Leslie, Jim Moodie, Gordon Miller, 
John Hutchison, James Chalmers (Rosebank), Geordie Wylie.
Front Row L - R. Mary Shearer, Ida Moodie, Margaret Marwick, Anna 
Jackson, Margaret Wylie, Jean Stout, Jean Leslie, Emily Wylie, Miss 
Sutherland (Teacher).
