[Stronsaylimpet] Update on the Stronsay Hotel

Just incase there is anyone that’s on this page that hasn’t seen the 
update on the Hotel.
Announcement - We appreciate the community has been waiting to hear news 
of opening especially ahead of the massive weekend, we ourselves have 
been awaiting news and feedback on a number of areas before a final 
decision could be made. unfortunately the work is not quite complete and 
the decision has been made to not open the bar for the massive weekend 
but to wait and have a grand reopening once all work is finalised and we 
can give you a 100% completed and finished experience.
We are close to this and are happy to announce the appointment of a new 
general manager Nicole Ross who will be a great asset to the project 
moving forward. It is the hope that once open we will be able to provide 
a consistent level of service and standards and would not want to rush 
to open before we can guarantee this and risk further closures.
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those that 
have been involved thus far there has been many hours of hard work and 
sweat to try to get the premises open and ready for the community and we 
value your patience as we continue the work.
This has not just been a wipe down and lick of paint job but a full 
renovation that has relied on a number of services and contractors from 
mainland as well as our local workforce. We hope that once we open you 
will feel the time spent waiting will be well worth it.(Posted by Anna)
