    <b><u>Plant sale </u></b><br>

    Thanks to everyone who attended the sale yesterday. It was a great

    turnout, plenty of plants were sold and folk enjoyed tea, coffee and

    cake despite the power cut.<br>

    I have nearly Ł1,000 here, for church funds, the proceeds from

    yesterday and the stall at the craft fair.<br>

    There are still some plants outside the church hall. Mike will put

    an honesty box there this morning when he goes to the service. I am

    heading to Dounby with a van full of more plants.<br>

    Help yourselves and make a donation to church funds. We were selling

    the trays of 9 plants for Ł3.50 and the individual plants for 50p

    each. I would love them to be all gone by the time I get back on

    Monday evening.<br>
