<i>From Stronsay Healthy Living Centre:</i><br>
Today we have had a water leak in the healthy living centre caused
by a blockage in the toilet. This has been reported. Until repaired
the toilet will be out of action. It also appears that persons are
still accessing the HLC to use the showers only even though they
have no membership. If this continues then we will need to get an
additional internal code lock fitted. The present internal door code
should not be shared by anyone other than HLC staff. <br>
Also someone has been using the free weights and has caused damage
to the gym carpet. The weights are also being left on the weight
rack which is a danger to other users. All equipment should be
returned to its orginal position before you leave. Persons using the
free weights should always have an adult (over 16) spotter with
them. <br>
The HLC is a valuable asset to the island but if people can't abide
by basic rules there will need to be stricter application of both
the buddy system and who can gain access. Any new members must first
arrange an induction with the Fitness Advisor so the rules can be
highlighted.
