    An exciting opportunity to join the Technical Team at Orkney Ferries

    as an Engineer – Ship & Shore 🔧 has arisen! <br>

    Applications are invited from candidates with either:<br>

    · STCW III/2 Chief Engineer up to 9000kw/ near coastal area or

    further advanced, or<br>

    · STCW III/2 (or 3) Second Engineer up to 6000Kw/ near costal or<br>

    · STCW III/1 Engineer Officers of the Watch unrestricted.<br>

    Where applicable, training to gain the higher classification may be

    provided to the suitable candidate. Those who qualifications have

    lapsed may also be considered and training provided.<br>

    The leave/work rota is based on 2 weeks on duty, 2 weeks on leave,

    when ship based, otherwise a 37 hour, 5 day week, when shore based;

    with pro rata holiday entitlement as per administration staff.<br>
