In response to the question raised as to why there were no Nordic Sea 
sailings scheduled for Stronsay on Tuesdays and Thursday during the 
Nordic Sea Summer 2025 timetable, Orkney Ferries has reviewed the Outer 
North Isles timetable and will put in a Stronsay run on Thursdays and 
will leave Tuesday as a Eday and Sanday service given that Stronsay has 
their own vessel on a Tuesday morning, arriving in town only 30 minutes 
after the Nordic Sea arrives.

Orkney Ferries will use this summer period to monitor passenger numbers, 
and that may shape how they allocate this additional service in the future.

Stronsay residents are asked to comment on the revised timetable, copy 
attached, but in the meantime Tuesday and Thursday bookings have been 
blocked off, awaiting your response. Please forward these to the Island
