Modern life seems to be an uphill battle in this regard. I’ve had “software” issues in the last week with Nottingham Playhouse, Apple, Hewlett Packard to name but a few. This is the aftermath of my ID theft adventure.

Subject: [Stronsaylimpet] Ferry, new software package - concessionary travel scheme problem

I have just tried to book a return ferry trip from Stronsay to Kirkwall
and back on Thu 21 Nov. After finally persuading the software to accept
my phone number I discovered that the new software makes the incorrect
assumption that every passenger is paying for the journey(s), there is
no mention of the concessionary travel scheme which now requires a smart
card and a printed paper voucher. I've emailed Orkney Ferries about the
problem and will relay any solutions that I receive.
