[Stronsaylimpet] Stronsay's West Pier closed

A section of the West Pier in Stronsay – known locally as ‘the 
fisherman’s pier’ - will be closed from early next week following 
concerns raised after a recent inspection.
The end 30m of the 150m pier is made up of three concrete sections and 
there is evidence that the joints between these sections are opening up.
