*Car park at The Balfour *
We currently have the visiting Breast Screening Service in Orkney which 
comprises of two mobile units in The Balfour car park. This vital 
screening takes place every three years for women aged 50-70 living in 
Orkney. Orkney remains to have one of the highest screening uptakes in 
the country of this vital service.
Due to the mobile units there is decreased capacity in the car park and 
we apologise for the short-term inconvenience, the service will be in 
place for another 8 weeks. However we would like to remind staff, 
visitors and patients to please only park in designated car park spaces.
We have received reports from Stagecoach that their drivers aren't able 
to access the bus lay-by to safely drop off and pick up passengers due 
to cars being wrongly parked in the lay-by, this is not acceptable. 
Please only park in designated car park spaces.
As a reminder, the mobile breast screening units will only be in place 
for 8 weeks and will be carrying out really important health checks.
We appreciate your co-operation during this time.
