CONSULTATION INVITATION
On 30th April 2024 the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service launched a 
National Consultation on the future of the Fire and Rescue Service and 
would like to invite as many people as possible to take part in the 
consultation.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has a proud history of serving 
communities and has always worked hard to keep people safe.
The role of the firefighter has evolved over time and firefighters want 
to build on this success to be a modern fire and rescue service that is 
ready for the challenges of Scotland's future. As outlined in their Long 
Term Vision, they want to do more for communities - not just by 
responding to incidents but by stopping them from happening in the first 
place.

consultation which ends on 30th June 2024.
