Next week our housing team have two online events for tenants to 
feedback about their participation strategy.
The online events will be taking place on Microsoft Teams at 1pm – 3pm 
on 16 July 2024 and 17 July 2024. If you’d like to attend please contact 
our Tenant Participation Officer at claire.pritchard at orkney.gov.uk or 
01856 873 535 (during office hours). If you would prefer to attend an 
event 'in -person' or would prefer to attend during the evening, please 
let us know.
Tenant Participation provides tenants with the opportunity to work with 
their landlord to improve Housing Services. The Council’s Tenant 
Participation Strategy is a plan that outlines our approach to tenant 
participation and how we engage with people. The team are inviting 
people to attend the events where they will be discussing the current 
approach to tenant participation and listening to your feedback. If you 
have any recommendations that you’d like to make, or you wish to learn 
more, please come along.
