[Stronsaylimpet] Schools on Monday

At this time it is the intention that Schools will remain open on 
Monday, however, this will be reassessed between 6am - 7am once we 
receive any further local information.
Amber Weather Warning Sunday 6pm till Monday 6am.
The met office has updated their Amber weather warning from 9pm Sunday 
till Monday 9am to 6am Sunday 21st January till 6am Monday 22nd January. 
School transport is expected to run as normal tomorrow. Conveyors will 
either contact parents directly or through Education if there are any 
changes to this. Stagecoach will make their decision early tomorrow 
morning and information will be posted on OIC School Transport facebook 
page.
Prelims
KGS – will go ahead as planned with alternate arrangements in place for 
those unable to attend, the school will send out further information.
Stromness Academy/Stronsay/Westray/Sanday – Parents and Pupils will be 
contacted directly to rearrange prelims within their own school plans.
PhoR – As per normal, will open at 7pm tonight.
Orkney Ferries
MV Shapinsay – Pupils have been booked onto the 1030 Monday sailing
MV Eyenhallow – 0745 is Under review. We will know if stagecoach are 
running by this time to transport pupils.
MV Graemsay – Cancelled
MV Hoy Head - Cancelled am – PhoR pupils recommended that pupils use the 
Monday pm ferry
North Isles Ferries – Moved forward for Sunday and Cancelled for Monday am.
