Thank you to everyone who has so far contacted your MSP, MP, or
councillor asking them to get the Scottish Government to provide 50% of
the funds for us to build a new cinema. We have received so many emails
and messages from people in our communities, as well as elected
officials, who would not like to see the Screen Machine service
disappear. It has been truly incredible to see the scale of support from
everyone.

But we are still not over the line. The message needs to continue to
spread and maintain its momentum. Our Head of Operations and
Communications, Fiona Fowler, has appeared on Reporting Scotland, STV,
and BBC Radio Scotland to argue the case for Screen Machine.

We ask that you please contact your elected officials if you haven't
already. Everything you need to know can be found on our Ways to Help

and Write to Your MPS, MP or Councillor

pages, including officials' contact details and suggestions on what to
include in your letter.

We are seeing the effects your voices are having on our case, and if we
continue to spread word then we believe we can achieve our goal. Thank
you once again. We value every letter sent in our support.

*Donations*
*We don't need them just yet*

We've received many messages asking if or how people can donate money
for a new cinema, as well as ways we could raise money. We appreciate
all of these queries and suggestions, but wanted to highlight that the
priority for us right now is getting 50% of funds from the Scottish
Government. Once this is secured, it will unlock and open new sources of
funding, and it is at this point we will start fundraising and welcome
donations.

So while we have already mentioned it above, we ask that you please
write to your MSP, MP or councillor if you haven't already.

You can still add £1 to any Adult or 60 and over tickets, but these will
solely go towards the rising ongoing costs of operating Screen Machine,
such as fuel, ferry journeys, and accommodation for our operators.

Thank you to everyone who has added a donation to their tickets so far.
