Orkney Islands Council is seeking the views of Orcadians who haven’t 
been to one of our museums or St Magnus Cathedral in the last two years. 
We look after The Orkney Museum, Scapa Flow Museum, Kirbuster Farm 
Museum and St Magnus Cathedral.
We are hosting an online discussion on Thursday 12th October (6.30-8pm).

The discussion will explore how Orcadians regard the sites run by Orkney 
Islands Council. We'll also talk about:
• What are the barriers to visiting?
• How to attract more resident visitors?
• What might encourage Orcadians to volunteer at one of the sites?
• The future sustainability of the sites - how can the sites best be 
funded in future?
The session will be on Zoom, and will last up to 90 minutes. Everything 
said at the discussion will be confidential and There is a small 
financial incentive for taking part.
