[Stronsaylimpet] Industrial action affecting schoolsn 26-28 Sep

Industrial action by unions is expected to impact on Orkney’s schools 
from 26 to 28 September.
The national pay award negotiations between Scottish Government, COSLA 
and unions representing non-teaching staff in Orkney's schools have not 
yet led to an agreement.
At the moment, our Education service is preparing for disruption, and 
school closures, from 26 – 28 September, with vital staff such as 
janitors, support for learning assistants and catering staff expected to 
take part in the action.
