*Domestic Assistant**
*GP Surgery - Stronsay*
*Band 2 £24,866 - £26,872 including Distant Islands Allowance pro rata 
per annum*
*Part time 5 hours per week*
*Permanent**

An opportunity has arisen to assist in the maintaining of a clean, safe 
working environment for the Stronsay GP Surgery in line with the NHS 
National Cleaning Specification.

Our domestic services team ensure that our facilities are clean and 
comfortable, while meeting quality and hygiene standards, so that we can 
provide the highest possible level of care to our patients. If you are a 
caring individual who can work as part of a time, while providing 
excellent customer service then this is the role for you.

The successful candidate must have previous experience of cleaning, 
experience of dealing with people, and the ability to build good working 
relationships. You must also be able to work on your own initiative. 
Good communication skills are essential, and candidates must be able to 
maintain confidentiality at all times.

Previous experience of cleaning in a healthcare environment and COSHH 
and Infection Control training would be desired but is not essential as 
full training will be given.
