/From Dan Lee (UHI Kirkwall):/
Dear all,
You are welcome to join the team!
Our geophysics team will be in Stronsay on 2-3 May to undertake
geophysical survey of the tomb at Grice Ness tomb. We will be using
Earth Resistance and Magnetometry techniques. You are welcome to join
the team!
We are interested find out:

  * What is the layout of the site and are there any buried features or
structures that many relate to its construction, use or abandonment?
  * How do any visible structural and earthwork remains relate to
    potential buried archaeological features?
  * How has the site changed?

Let me know if you are interested in helping with the survey for all or
part of the time, there are still spaces (thanks to those who have been
in touch). Feel free to drop by and visit the team during the two days.
Meet at the end of the road in Lower Whitehall, by the old slip at 10am
and we will walk down the track to the site (leaving c.16:30). Chris Gee
and Kevin Kerr will lead the surveys.
Best wishes,
Dan
